Russian Railways (JSC) is a Russian state‑owned vertically integrated company, the owner of public railway infrastructure and the largest carrier on the Russian railway network. It was established in 2003 on the basis of the Ministry of Railways of the Russian Federation. It ranks among the world’s top three railway companies.
