An international airport of federal significance in Nizhny Novgorod. It is a joint-use airfield – in addition to civil aviation, it hosts the 675th Special Purpose Aviation Regiment of the National Guard Troops. In 2020, Strigino Airport won the national award "Air Gates of Russia".
