The principle of operation of an electronic key holder

The principle of operation of the device is quite simple and intuitive. To receive the key, the user must enter a pin-code or present the user's card to the reader. Then you need to select the item "get the key" on the touch screen and the door of the key holder will open. In an open slot, the user has access to keys highlighted in green. Access to keys highlighted in red is denied. Next, the user selects the key to be taken on the display. After that, the slot will be unlocked, and a flashing diode will inform that the key can be taken. The user will only have to pick up the key and close the door of the key holder.

To return the key, the user must enter a pin-code or present the user's card to the reader. Select the item "return the key" on the key holder screen, after which the door will open. Then you just need to insert the RFID tag into the flashing slot. If the user has inserted an RFID tag into the wrong slot, the system will sound a signal that the key has been inserted into the wrong slot and indicate the correct place.

Administration

The administrator of the electronic key keeper can import and export the list of users through the CSV file, add or delete users directly through the interface of the electronic key keeper, assign employee access to one or more slots (keys). The administrator can also export usage reports to a USB flash drive, unlock all slots, and lock the slot and access to it. Through the administration panel, you can register an e-mail or cell phone address to which reports or system notifications should be sent. In addition, it is possible to add a logo to the main screen in standby mode or a video intro.

Safety

To ensure accounting, a sealed cable with an identifier is put on each key, as well as an RFID tag, which is locked in the slot and unlocked only by an authorized user. When installing an RFID tag in the slot, the accounting system sees this. Sealed cable with serial number ensures control, eliminating system vulnerability.
